...we're getting our first look at plans to actually build a $300 million movie studio complex. Movie industry executives are in town tonight and they sat down exclusively with our correspondent. They say lawmakers are ready to hand over the tax credits, they are ready to build. Sound stages. Reporter: take a look at this. Our first look at a proposed mega movie studio complex. Studios, stages set. This is the actual site. It is 30 acres of commercial property which is actively being prepared in the new development known as south field. If the movie studios and sets are eventually built, everything you see behind me and beside me, all of those buildings would be coming down to be replaced some day by what supporters describe as Hollywood east. We'll have a state of the art, first class film and digital media facility that will compete with anything in the world. Reporter: three executives from international studio group sat down with me tonight. Legislation were passed into law tomorrow, within 90 days we would have shovels in the ground. Reporter: the legislation he's talking about would give owners a 20% tax credit if they make Massachusetts their home. This state already offers movie producers a tax credit if they shoot a movie here and they are showing up in large numbers. This new legislation would give the studio owners a separate credit, to build here, 20 cents on every dollar. Representative Mariano, the bill's sponsor, defends multiple credits for one industry...
